Who we are
Plinth Consultancy Services LTD was founded in Uganda in the late 1980s to provide development consultancy, construction management, and facilities support for civil engineering and telecommunications infrastructure projects. Over three and a half decades, we've delivered projects for government agencies (Ministry of Education, Rural Electrification Authority, municipal councils), multinational corporations, and private developers across Uganda, Zambia, and the wider East and Southern Africa region.
Our team includes chartered engineers, quantity surveyors, and site supervisors with direct experience managing road rehabilitation, school construction, telecom grid extensions, commercial developments, and government housing projects. We understand Uganda's regulatory landscape (KCCA, NEMA, UNBS), local vendor networks, and the practical challenges of coordinating multi-phase builds in environments where supply chains, weather, and site access can create unexpected delays.
What sets us apart is accountability. We document everything—site inspections, material test results, contractor payments, change orders, and handover documentation—so clients have transparent records from feasibility through final certification. We don't disappear after handover; our facilities management arm provides ongoing support to keep buildings functional and compliant long after construction is complete.
